Detailed Description

RB8506 PPORT Set Port Dir

RB8506 PPORT Set Port Dir

set the direction of port according to bit-pattern dir.

port direction bit-pattern:

Peripheral ports PA, PB: 0s specify inputs, 1s specify outputs.

Control ports lines CA1, CB1: 0s specify negative active edge, 1s specifes positive active edge.

Control ports lines CA2, CB2: 0 specify inputs, 1s specify outputs.

So for example, when port is PB and bit-pattern is 0b00001111, lines PB0..PB3 are set to output (1) and lines PB4..PB7 are set to input (0).

To set CB2 to output and CB1 to negative active edge, you use 0b10 (CB1 is at bit-position 0).

Controls and Indicators

ci32

handle

is a handle to the Parallel Interface.

cclst

error in (no error)

The error in cluster can accept error information wired from VIs previously called. Use this information to decide if any functionality should be bypassed in the event of errors from other VIs.

The pop-up option Explain Error (or Explain Warning) gives more information about the error displayed.

cu16

port (PA)

peripheral port, PA, PB, or control port CA , CB.

ci32

dir (0)

port direction bit-pattern.

iclst

error out

The error out cluster passes error or warning information out of a VI to be used by other VIs.

The pop-up option Explain Error (or Explain Warning) gives more information about the error displayed.

ii32

dup handle

is a duplicate handle to the Parallel Interface.

iu16

dup port

peripheral port, PA, PB, or control port CA , CB.
