Detailed Description

RB8506 PPORT Get Port Data

RB8506 PPORT Get Port Data

get the data for port.

port bit-pattern:

Peripheral ports PA, PB and Control ports lines CA2, CB2:

- 0 low level

- 1 high level

Control ports lines CA1, CB1:

- 0 active edge did not occurr

- 1 active edge occurred

So for example, when port is PB and bit-pattern is 0b00001111, lines PB0..PB3 are high (1) and lines PB4..PB7 are low (0).

A bit-pattern of 0b10 for CB (or CA), indicates that CB2 is high and CB1 did not record an active edge transition since the last read (CB1 is at bit-position 0).

Controls and Indicators

ci32

handle

is a handle to the Parallel Interface.

cclst

error in (no error)

The error in cluster can accept error information wired from VIs previously called. Use this information to decide if any functionality should be bypassed in the event of errors from other VIs.

The pop-up option Explain Error (or Explain Warning) gives more information about the error displayed.

cu16

port (PA)

peripheral port, PA, PB, or control port CA , CB.

iclst

error out

The error out cluster passes error or warning information out of a VI to be used by other VIs.

The pop-up option Explain Error (or Explain Warning) gives more information about the error displayed.

ii32

data

port data bit-pattern.

ii32

dup handle

is a duplicate handle to the Parallel Interface.

iu16

dup port

peripheral port, PA, PB, or control port CA , CB.
