2.1 Build Program

WordIndex can be compiled as follows:

GNU C : WordIndex/src>g++ -I../include -o wordindex.exe main.cpp
MS VC8: WordIndex/src>cl /EHsc -I../include -Fewordindex.exe main.cpp

The make procedure creates the unit test programs, wordindex.exe and the Doxygen
documentation.

Note: currently the makefiles are MS Nmake files, whereas the compilers used in
the procedure is GNU C (!)


2.2 Build Documentation

The html documentation and the compressed html help (.chm) are created with
Doxygen (http://www.doxygen.org/)as specified in the Doxygen configuration file
WordIndex/doc/Doxyfile.

Creation of the compressed html help file requires Microsoft's Hypertext Help
Compiler (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=2363A6FC-CB70-464D-85E6-F598C11CCECF)
